Award winning food market Bonnie & Wild are the anchor hospitality brand in Edinburgh’s prestigious St James Quarter. They are passionate about championing the best of Scottish food and drink, showcasing high quality, locally sourced products, and offering an exceptional customer experience. Bonnie & Wild currently have twelve food stalls, three bars, and a suite of stunning events spaces where they host bespoke functions.
Following their fast growth and high popularity in Edinburgh, Bonnie & Wild have ambitions to expand their hugely successful dining concept. When they first approached Texaport, Bonnie & Wild’s Communications Director Colin Campbell was managing the IT. They were using Microsoft 365 alongside a number of different SaaS solutions, but weren’t confident that they were utilising them in an efficient or cost-effective way.
With so much of Colin’s energy taken up by the IT responsibility, he was unable to dedicate himself fully to the PR, marketing, and media side of his role. To stand a chance of expanding their reach and entering new markets, Bonnie & Wild needed to free Colin up from the time drain that IT management was increasingly becoming.
Texaport now provides Bonnie & Wild with unlimited IT management which will flex to meet their needs as they scale. Even though our primary method of service delivery is proactive problem resolution, this service also grants them access to our highly responsive service desk who are on hand to resolve any issues that do arise.
Running parallel to this, Texaport have also taken on the management of Bonnie & Wild’s Microsoft 365 suite. We are an accredited Microsoft Silver Partner and our certified engineers maintain their Microsoft 365 environment, keeping it intuitively structured and secure. We also regularly update Bonnie & Wild’s Microsoft 365 licences, and ensure that the system is optimised for their current and future plans.
We utilised a leading marketing tool to redesign and standardise Bonnie & Wild’s email signatures. This keeps the style, contact details, and disclaimer information uniform across all employees and lets them add custom widgets and track click-through rates.
Colin and his team use cloud services including an online booking calendar, and a SaaS-based EPOS system, so we applied our subject expertise to review the capabilities of each existing tool, making sure that Bonnie & Wild are getting the most from their IT investment.
