Monitoring and improvement

Texaport’s quarterly monitoring and improvement process involves closely tracking and analysing consumption trends within each target area. This entails recording the consumption of commodities every quarter. By adhering to this well-structured approach, Texaport can effectively observe patterns, identify emerging trends, make well-informed decisions, and successfully implement enhancements across our sustainability initiatives. The monitoring process for each objective is outlined as follows:

Energy Efficiency:

  • We will request regular reports from the space management detailing electricity consumption.
  • And collaboratively monitor energy consumption with other co-working spaces and share best practices.

Transportation: Our approach involves calculating the total distance travelled for work-related purposes.

Waste Management and Recycling: We record the weight or volume of each waste category collected for recycling.

Paper Reduction: Our process includes recording the number of reams or sheets of paper used.

Water Consumption:

  • We will request regular reports from the space management detailing water consumption.
  • And collaboratively monitor water consumption with other co-working spaces and share best practices.
Sustainable Procurement: We will track the percentage of products purchased that meet sustainable criteria, such as being made from recycled materials, having minimal packaging, or carrying recognised eco-labels.
Maintenance and Cleaning: We will track the percentage of cleaning products used that are environmentally friendly.

Texaport‘s management will review all relevant regulatory requirements, this policy and any related business issues annually to identify areas of improvement. This comprehensive review assists in identifying areas for improvement and highlights potential needs for awareness initiatives or additional training.
