Cyber Essentials

Get support from Texaport to prepare your business for Cyber Essentials certification.

Certified Cyber Security

Cyber Essentials is a Government, GCHQ and industry-backed standard which will help you to guard against the most common cyber threats and demonstrate your commitment to cybersecurity.
Texaport takes a “Holistic” approach to Cyber Security using the standard as a guideline for clients to comply with and build upon. Additional controls and measures will be recommended to improve on these guidelines as there is no silver bullet for IT Security.

Accreditation can be completed independently with companies working to complete a detailed document. Texaport is happy to provide assistance to clients in completing this document, allowing you to focus on your core business while we focus on your business’ security.
The accreditation has become a standard pre-requisite for working with public bodies and encourages the development of a secure supply chain. This should be a top priority for all businesses as your biggest vulnerability may be a supplier and not an employee.
