Grouped with desktops as “workstations”, laptops are a popular alternative for business due to the flexibility in location for users.
Texaport supports laptops as part of our managed service agreements and ad-hoc for clients outside of agreements on an hourly billing basis. With laptops active for an average of 4-8 hours a day, 5 days a week it’s imperative that they are available as and when required by the user.
Supporting these devices for Texaport means supporting the users at these devices. Ensuring that the software operates effectively is as important as the device powering on and the screen works.
Texaport’s in-house engineers work to support the Operating Systems (Windows, Linux and MacOS), Software (Microsoft Office, CRM, Line of Business etc.), firmware and peripherals (Display, Printer, Keyboard, mouse etc.) of these devices on a daily basis.
