CyberScotland is a Partnership programme aiming to collaborate with influential companies in Scotland. CyberScotland Week is hosted between February 27th and March 5th, in locations all over Scotland. There is a diverse range of Cyber Companies and Individuals offering free events, talks, resources, and their time, to contribute to such a healthy initiative. They have a rich collaboration of key organisations, such as: Police Scotland, The Scottish Government, The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) and The IASME Consortium.
Events are being held in a hybrid manner, with a lot of events being hosted Online, but also at physical locations, such as: Edinburgh Napier University, Abertay University in Dundee, and The Technology and Innovation Centre at the University of Strathclyde.
CyberScotland Week is filled with free Webinars, Cybersecurity Resources, and a plethora of learning opportunities. The events aim to cover a wide range of aspects within Cybersecurity, with events such as Capture the Flag (CTF) and Cyber Escape Rooms. There will be talks on new and emerging Cyberthreats to Businesses and Charities, tips on how to bolster your own Cybersecurity and how to better safeguard yourself and others online. Other talks will offer advice on how to avoid complex Phishing attempts, emerging Cryptocurrency Scams, and generally how to be more Cyber Vigilant.
